Chocolate

Basic recipe for elaboration of Chocolate Sticks.

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate for melting
  • Plastic sticks
  • Ale's Mold

Microwave Preparation

In a recipient, It is put some chocolate to use, and it is warmed by microwave for 30-seconds time periods.

It is mixed the chocolate with a paddle, to verify that it is completely melt.

If it is not enough, the chocolate is returned to the microwave for some additional seconds.

Bain-marie Preparation

It is deposited the chocolate inside of a recipient that is on another one with boiling water, the time it is necessary for the chocolate to become creamy.

Once melt, it is verted on the mold. We can do this with a paddle or a spoon until the the chocolate fills the mold.

The sticks are put on their respective place and the mold is knocked against the table to eliminate the bubbles within and so the chocolate can settle down.

It is let cool down in the freezer for 5 minutes and unmold.

The excese of the figure are reduced with a knife. The figure is wrapped into a cellophane bag and it is adorned with a ribbon.

Candles

Basic Elaboration

Materials:

  • Paraffin
  • Dying
  • Scent
  • Candle Dismounter
  • Candle wick
  • Ale's Mold

Procedure

The paraffin is melt down directly on low flame. When it is complete melted, it is added the dying and the scent.

Then the mold is prepared with the wick and the desmoldante spray.

The mold is shut down for the paraffin won’t pour out.
The melted paraffin is pour at a temperature less than 90ºC or 100ºC.

When the candle is sinking on the middle, refill with more warm paraffin.

It is let cool down about 4 or 5 hours to dismount.

Excesses are removed from the wax with a knife. The candle is polished with a gauze or nylon and oil to give shinning.

If it is not enough, the piece is returned to the microwave some extra-seconds.

Plaster Shapes

Elaboration of plaster figures 

Materials:

  • Plaster
  • Water
  • Dismounter (Baby Oil)
  • Ale's Mold

Procedure

In a recipient is put 1 portion and 2 of plaster.

The plaster is let moisten about 5 or 7 minutes without mixing.

Passed this time, the water is mixed. If it is too liquid, then is added more plaster until reaching a creamy consistence.

The mixture is pour into the mold previously sprayed with baby oil and the mold is knocked against the table to eliminate the bubbles within so the plaster can settle down.

You can dismount the plaster piece letting pass 20 minutes or until the mixture has solified by complete. The excesses are removed with a knife.

Soap

Basic Process to mold Soap

Materials:

  • Glycerine Soap
  • Dying
  • Scent
  • Dismounter (Baby oil or Alcohol)
  • Ale's Mold

Procedure

The soap is cut into little chunks and they are put on a glass or plastic recipient.

To prepare it on microwave it is programmed for 30 seconds to melt down the soap. In case that it is used more time then it is programmed another 10 seconds.

To prepare it on bain-marie, the recipient with soap chunks is put onto another with warm water until the soap becomes liquid.

Once done this it is added the dye of your choice. The quantity vary depending on the hue to obtain. Thus the scent is added here.

To the mold is applied some baby oil or is sprayed alcohol, this is to dismount the piece later.

The soap is poured with all the mixed ingredients.
It is let cool down at medium temperature and it is dismounted alter 20 minutes.

Once got the piece, it is covered with a pellicle to Project the piece and give a better presentation of it.

Ask for the special additives for soap.
